William Hogarth is one of Britain's most famous painters and printer makers. He was also an enthusiastic Freemason, who really embodied what Freemasonry means - giving time, money and energy to charitable causes and in promoting younger artists.
The presentation details Hogarth's life and also uncovers some of the Masonic symbolism hidden in his work. Based on the excellent book "William Hogarth A Freemason's Harlot" by Jeremy Bell, available at
Lewis Masonic.
